Some quite challenging stuff in there too, the two “measure” clues being my last two in.

I found this challenging but enjoyable. The two measure clues were my last ones in too!
I do the Independent crossword on an mobile app that doesn’t show me the name of the setter, which made 7a quite a struggle; after I got it from the definition and the crossing letters, I couldn’t parse it till *that* penny dropped! I couldn’t parse PART SONG at all.
Thank you, Poins and Simon.
I’m always happy to see Poins’ name at the top of an IoS puzzle (unlike Abhay my technology is less sophisticated, so I can see it’s him). You know it’ll be a sound and accessible puzzle, and that’s what I enjoyed about this one.
NEBRASKA is a lovely clue with a fine surface; but it was all pretty good, really.
Thanks to Simon and Poins.
I had no problem with “hand” and “part” but it was “old” meaning practised at 24ac that fooled me.
