Because many comments containing multiple links are spam, WordPress, the software this site runs on, is set so that any comment with three or more links in it is placed in a moderation queue if it hasn’t already been intercepted by Akismet, the spam filter. This will result in a delay before the comment appears on the site.
The delay could be a few minutes or it could be several hours depending on when the post’s author, or myself, next accesses his/her email inbox.
