S & B Cambridge – the crosswords

At the Cambridge S&B several crosswords were handed out, many of these written for the occasion – I counted 7 or 8.
I decided once more to blog these puzzles, in a neutral way and based on the setters’ own intentions.

So, don’t be surprised to see some new names crawling around the familiar ones.
Please, make them feel welcome!

Windsurfer‘s crossword, cryptically called ‘Box Spanner’, has already been extensively blogged on Big Dave’s site:           http://bigdave44.com/2015/04/25/ntspp-272/

For those who forgot their hard copy (or lost it) and for those who weren’t there and are interested at what happens within the periphery of Crosswordland, it’s here where you can find some of these inspiring labours of love:

Ballard @ Cambridge
Dalibor @ Cambridge
Mitz @ Cambridge
Neil @ Cambridge
Neil 2 @ Cambridge

Neil Stutchbury provided two puzzles, one of them being an alphabetical (!).
Meanwhile , the blogs of these crosswords are now online except Neil’s second.

Indy setter Alchemi also contributed to the day with a ‘Birthday puzzle’.
Unfortunately, I have not enough information (yet) to blog this crossword.

The preamble of each blog contains a link to the puzzle’s PDF, giving one the opportunity to enjoy solving before reading any further.
Puzzles and blogs will be stored in the Sundry Puzzles category.

Cheers.
