S & B Cambridge – puzzle by Dalibor

Dalibor’s puzzle for the day can be found here: Dalibor @ Cambridge  and featured a double mini theme built around 10 across.

The solution to that clue was ‘Castle Inn’, the name of the venue (hence the definition: ‘here’). Four clues led to a castle (‘part of 10’), four other clues turned out to be alternatives for inn (the second ‘part of 10’).   There was also a kind of mini theme with six down clues containing ‘Somewhere in …’ .
Please note:   a couple of clues were rewritten / tweaked [23ac and 1d] after Daedalus (of Indy fame) made some valid comments during the event.

Definitions are underlined wherever possible and/or appropriate.
