Gemelo, in association with The Observer, plans to start offering a monthly clue-writing competition early in 2027.
Read more: New Gemelo clue-writing competition coming soonThe competition will operate in much the same way as the Azed competition, which we last saw in July 2025. Gemelo’s clue-writing competition will run on the last Sunday of every month.
The plan is to run a test competition on November 29th. This will form the basis of testing the whole process and the competition (for real) will start on January 31st 2027.
